2019 Outstanding Drama Series Emmys Predictions

Listen, the final season of “Game of Thrones” would have to be god-awful for it to not win this category.  The question is who will actually sit alongside them at the Emmys telecast.  That’s going to be the most interesting race at all because of all the potential nominees who won’t qualify.  There are lots of excuses, er, reasons these series won’t go up against “Thrones” but “The Crown,” “Stranger Things,” “Big Little Lies,” “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Homeland” are all out of the mix.  “Killing Eve,” “This Is Us,” “Ozark” and “Better Call Saul” are likely in.  The other two slots?  We’ll see.
