Kanye West Rings In 2019 By Praising Trump, Teasing Presidential Run And Tweeting Dragon Emojis

Remember when Kanye West said he was distancing himself from politics so he could focus on “being creative”? Well, it seems like he didn’t distance himself far enough because he gleefully took his custom-made MAGA cap and a pair of his finest Yeezys to jump back on the Trump wagon — and he rang in the New Year by letting the whole world know.

In a series of tweets (any time a story starts like this, it usually isn’t good news), Ye had one of his conniptions like his homeboy Donald Trump. But with Ye, it’s as though he has a collection of trigger words and emojis and he just draws out of a bag to make his version of a coherent sentence.

“From now on I’m performing with my mutherfucking hat on,” he wrote followed by three dragon emojis, referencing the “dragon energy” he shares with his BFF Trump.

He also tweeted “Trump all day” (as opposed to just some times of the day) as well as “Just so in 2019 you know where I stand”, which probably means he is supporting 45 when he runs for reelection in 2020.

He then wrote, “Blacks are 90% Democrats That sounds like control to me 🤔” followed by “They will not program me.” He went on to express his love for everyone and wrote “2024” which teases that he will run for president in 2024 or he is releasing an album. Hopefully, it’s neither and he’s just randomly spouting out numbers.

It’s been a while since we heard anything from Ye so it’s no surprise he took the first day of 2019 to spill his emotions and thoughts on social media. Happy New Kanyear.
