2019 Best Sound Mixing Oscars Predictions

In case you don’t remember the difference between Sound Mixing and Sound Editing, you can find a primer here.  What is important to know is that this is the category musicals usually get nominated in, but with such a competitive field (yes, it’s this year’s word) the musicals that make it are likely “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “A Star Is Born” and not the more traditional musical, “Mary Poppins Returns.” Maybe.  All three would be a surprise.  Maybe.
