‘The Good Doctor’ Gets Year-End Ratings Shot In Arm, But ‘The Voice’ Tops Monday

NBC’s The Voice (1.5, 7.79M) ticked down a tenth in the demo and 4% in total viewers but even so finished the night as the No. 1 Big Four program in both metrics. Following the singing competition, a special one-off Deal or No Deal broadcast (1.0, 5.431M). in advance of its CNBC debut Wednesday, came in just shy of Manifest’s most recent slot showing.

But ABC’s The Good Doctor winter finale (1.4, 7.21M) won the 10 PM hour, also besting CBS’s Bull (0.7, 6.5M). The doc drama finished as Monday’s top scripted show in total viewers and in the demo, delivering its largest overall crowd since its season starter and a season high in the demo.

Stats on The Good Doctor and its 8-10 PM lead-in, The Great Christmas Light Fight (1.1, 5.39M), which grew week to week in both metrics, are subject to more significant adjustment than usual due to NFL pre-emptions in Philly and Washington, D.C.

Staying slot-steady describes CBS The Neighborhood (1.1, 6.49M), Happy Together (0.8, 4.56M) and back-to-back repeats of The Big Bang Theory (0.8, 4.86M; 0.8, 4.97M), as well as the CW’s Arrow (0.4, 1.36M) and Legends of Tomorrow (0.3, 93K).

Fox, meanwhile, went with repeats of The Resident (0.5, 2.27M) and 9-1-1 (0.5, 2.5M)

When the dust settled, NBC (1.3,7.78M) topped the night, followed by ABC (1.2, 5.99M), CBS (0.8, 5.65M), Fox (0.5, 2.38M) and CW (0.4, 1.14M)
