Pete Davidson Opens Up About Online Bullying And Mental Health After Ariana Grande Break-Up

During this time, beyond the quick and courteous address on SNL's "Weekend Update," Davidson has kept quiet about the break-up and how he's doing. But in a revealing Instagram post, Davidson opened up about online bullying, his mental health and his qualms with the fast-spreading information center known as the Internet -- among a few other things.

As Pete Davidson admits in the Instagram post, the comedian has rarely been shy about discussing his mental health and his troubled history with suicidal thoughts. But he has kept quiet since the fallout of his engagement to Ariana Grande. Both parties have stayed silent about what caused their relationship to fall apart. But with the release of Grande's hit single, "thank u, next," many people assumed that Davidson might possibly be to blame.

Pete Davidson doesn't mention Ariana Grande by name, and it sounds like he doesn't want to direct any attention onto her. Rather, Davidson is speaking from the heart about how he feels he is being mistreated on the Internet, and how that relates to his history with mental illness. It is another example of Davidson being real, upfront and sincere with his followers, which is a quality that helped earn him a coveted spot on SNL in the first place.

While Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande are officially done as a couple, Davidson is still receiving harassment and bullying due to his past relationship. He wants that to stop -- understandably. We hope he finds some peace as the dust starts to fate from the heavily-rumored state of his broken love.
