Josh Brolin Shows Off His Adorable Newborn Girl In First Photo

There's nothing like a baby to put a smile on Thanos' face. Josh Brolin, aka Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Cable in Deadpool 2, is now a proud papa to a newborn little lady named Westlyn Reign. The actor showed off his first child with entrepreneur Kathryn Boyd by posting this awww-worthy photo:

How precious is that? (Let's just hope Josh Brolin treats this daughter better than Thanos treated Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War. Just sayin'.)

Josh Brolin couldn't resist giving Westlyn her first close-up with an Instagram video. Sure, it just shows her in sleep mode, but it's still cute to see her, and to see his pride. Kathryn Boyd Brolin shared the same Instagram video, adding this caption:

Kathryn Boyd was Josh Brolin's personal assistant before they got engaged in 2015 and married in 2016. She's the creator of Midheaven Denim, a line of jeans for tall women like her 5'11" self.

Josh Brolin has two grown children -- Trevor, 30, and Eden, 24 -- from his first marriage to actress Alice Adair. He was also married a second time to actress Diane Lane, from 2004 to 2013. Brolin is the son of actor James Brolin, who is himself married to Barbra Streisand. So little Westlyn is joining quite an impressive family.

Josh Brolin, now 50, recently redefined his acting career with superhero hits. He joined the MCU as Thanos in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and returned in full force for Avengers: Infinity War. We know he'll be back in Avengers: 4 in May 2019. At the same time, Brolin put himself through the grueling diet and exercise process of becoming Cable for the Deadpool sequel.

Josh Brolin's hard body work paid off, and it turns out his Thanos was almost shirtless in Avengers: Infinity War, which would've pleased the many fans who call Thanos their sexy space daddy.

For now, Josh Brolin is busy being a real daddy to his newest leading lady. Maybe Brolin can make amends with Gamora actress Zoe Saldana by setting up play dates between little Westlyn and Saldana's three children.

Josh Brolin recently broke up his superhero streak with Sicario and the sequel Sicario: Day of the Soldad_o, plus _Only the Brave and a more comedic role in Hail, Caesar! He'll next be seen back in Thanos mode, ready to defend that epic snap, in Avengers 4, which should be revealing its title and first trailer fairly soon. That film is currently scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on May 3, 2019.
